Built in the late 12th or early 13th century, the Bayon Temple complex is one of the most striking of the Khmer Ankor temples. The temple is extremely busy during the day, so late afternoon or early morning is easily the best time to visit.

Built in the 10th century by King Rajendravarman, the East Mebon temple complex was its own island in the middle of the vast East Baray reservoir. With four stone landing docks, one can almost see the boats slowly making their way towards the temple. Enjoy more photographs of England, Wales, Scotland, Turkey, Cambodia and Belize.
