Elephants are a common sight in Cambodia and can even be seen walking down the roads in Siem Reap. Take a tour on one, but sometimes, they are more majestic seen walking down the roads. Watch the cars get out of their way.

Bayon Temple Carving – Photo a Day – Khmer Temples – Cambodia Travel Photography

Built in the late 12th or early 13th century, the Bayon Temple complex is one of the most striking of the Khmer Ankor temples. The temple is extremely busy during the day, so late afternoon or early morning is easily the best time to visit.

Still to this day, rice is the staple grain of Cambodia and the rest of southeast Asia. All across Cambodia, one looks into the fields and comes to expect people wrapped up against the sun’s harsh glare harvesting the rice paddies.
