Portmagee Ireland, Portmagee, Ireland, photography, County Kerry, — Portmagee Ireland is the gateway to Skellig Michael, the famed UNESCO Heritage Site well known for being an early Christian monastery and Star Wars Episode 7 location. Travel photography by Krushworth.

The tiny fishing village of Portmagee has always been known for its boats that go to the historic Skellig Islands. Since the latest Star Wars film, The Force Awakens, was filmed here, it’s seen a massive influx of tourists.
