The Poulnabrone Dolmen (Portal Tomb) was built between 4,200 BCE to 2,900 BCE. Travel Photography (Photos) by Kevin Rushworth.

Twenty two people were found buried within the Poulnabrone Portal Tomb, which is nearly 5,000 years old. Sixteen adults and six children were laid to rest in the interior. The bones were first buried elsewhere and then transferred to the portal tomb for final internment. A mysterious place.
