The Dark Hedges, Ireland (Game of Thrones Location)/ Travel Photography

While many fans of Game of Thrones know this tree tunnel as part of the King’s Road, in reality, it truly exists in Northern Ireland. In the 18th century, the trees along the laneway were planted by the Stuart family leading towards Gracehill House.

  1. This is but a single photo yet very powerful. This place really is something. It’s amazing and one of a kind. It’s a GOT location alright but even if its not it really is worth visiting. If ever I’ll be in Northern Ireland I will definitely look for this place before I go home. I can’t wait to finally see it in person.
