On June 20, 2013, I woke up early to take photographs of the flood. I knew that Wallaceville always gets hit hardest by floodwaters, so as the editor of the High River Times, I took my camera and headed into the flood zone. Little did I know that by the end of the day, I would lose my house, my car and my office.
