This two-year-old male cougar was found slinking through the town of Pincher Creek Alberta. Fish and wildlife officers scared it up a tree, tranquilized it and then I had the rare opportunity of photographing a usually elusive animal, who was in a bear proof cage, waiting to be released back into the backcountry.
