Enjoy England travel photography and fall in love with Great Britain tourism. Visit Clifford’s Tower in York, England. York is a spectacular place to take travel photographs.

Built on the orders of William I (the Conquerer) to subjugate the once Viking city of Jorvik, York Castle has had a turbulent history over the centuries, including a massacre of 150 Jews in a pogrom. Clifford’s Tower is the only remaining portion of the castle as it was torn down to create a prison. By the way, that’s me on the steps. What a handsome fellow.
