Enjoy England travel photography and fall in love with Great Britain tourism. Visit Lindisfarne Priory on Holy Island outside Berwick-upon-Tweed, England. Berwick is a spectacular place to take travel photographs.

Though there has been a priory on Holy Island since the early 7th century, the Lindisfarne priory is best known for the man named St. Cuthbert who died in the 9th century. Buried in the priory, his remains were moved years after death. The priory is also the site of the creation of the famed and beautiful Lindisfarn gospels.
